Civilization: Beyond Earth gets Mantle API after Catalyst 14.9.2 Update
Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond World has finally received the much awaited, Drape API patch in the Goad fourteen.9.2 update. This iteration of AMD'southward driver suite is a functioning update geared specifically for Beyond Earth and enables a speed boost on Radeon GPUs under the right atmospheric condition. The AMD Catalyst Driver fourteen.9.ii (Public) was released just a few hours ago and consists solely of the Mantle upgrade for Sid Mier's Civilisation. The change log literally only states that one item, so unless you have the game installed, there is really no reason to download this detail iteration. These benchmarks were conducted with a Cadre i7 4770K overclocked to a massive 4.1 Ghz. Basically, in that location is literally no CPU-Overhead left for Pall to release.
